Data Shows Year-Over-Year Housing Price Increase for August 2011
Home prices in the the Indianapolis/Carmel area increased on a year-over-year basis in August, according to data from the CoreLogic Home Price Index, which tracks price changes in repeat sales of homes.
Indiana overall is one of just 10 states, Washington, D.C. included, in which home prices increased on a year-over-year basis in August. West Virginia tops the list with 8.6% year-over-year growth in August, followed by Wyoming (3.6) and North Dakota (3.5).
